Terms and Conditions

General

The video overview of your bicycle is an estimate and NOT a quote. Estimates are compiled based on experience and current labour/parts costs.

The estimate is based on what is discussed in the video overview and from findings when examining your bicycle. Any amendments, changes, variations, additions, or unforeseen work not listed in the estimate may be chargeable. You will be notified in writing of any variation that will incur additional costs. While efforts will be made to minimize costs, additional work or materials beyond the estimate may incur extra charges.

Service plans do not include parts unless otherwise stated.

Overall labour estimates are approximate, and additional costs may be incurred depending on time required.

Estimated turnaround times are in working days and do not include weekends or bank holidays. Delays due to parts availability are beyond control and may extend the turnaround time.

Labour

Labour rates are charged as follows unless otherwise agreed:

  • Standard labour rate per hour of a pre-booked job: £70
  • Emergency labour rate for a repair not booked in advance: £75
  • Labour rates for individual jobs are calculated to the nearest 15 minutes.

Parts

  • All parts used are considered an extra charge unless stated as "included."
  • If parts price increases occur between the estimate and work commencement/purchase, a revised estimate may be provided.
  • Material invoices are not supplied to customers unless previously agreed.
  • Customers may supply their own parts; however, no responsibility is taken for incorrect or damaged parts, particularly from internet-based retailers.
  • A price match may be offered against UK-based competitors if the item is in stock, of the same specification, and not part of a discount code, membership deal, or multi-buy offer. The right to refuse a price match is reserved at discretion.

Insurance

Full public liability insurance is held.

Photographs / Video / Social Media Outlets

Photographs or videos of your bicycle may be taken at various stages to aid estimating, document work progress, or showcase completed work. These may be used on social media channels and the website. They may also aid future customers in parts recommendations and showcase final finishes.

Direct references to clients via social media handles may be made unless otherwise requested. If you prefer not to have photographs taken or your handle used, please notify us.

All photographic material (videos or stills) and work designs are copyrighted and will not be shared with third parties without permission. Client references and comments are welcomed but must be approved before posting.

Payment

  • Payment in full is due upon completion of the work.
  • Stage payments or part payments may be requested.
  • Accepted payment methods: BACS, cash, or credit/debit card payments (over £100).
  • Late payments may result in legal action, with additional costs incurred.
  • Outstanding debts may be partially or fully settled with the removal/return of materials. Permission is granted for Mr. Thomas Holland or authorized agents to enter premises and remove such items.

Conclusion

Acceptance of these terms and conditions occurs upon instruction to commence work, whether given verbally, in writing, or via electronic mail.
